What Does Nourish Mean? Why It Matters?

Why Clean Ingredients Matter

For as long as we can remember, food was always part of the conversation in our home.

If we were sick, the first question was always, “What did you eat?” If we were sore, tired, or hurt, our mom often turned to food and natural remedies. Sometimes they came from research she had done online. Other times, they came from the health food store down the street.

Food wasn’t just something we ate. It was something we paid attention to.

We grew up asking a simple question: Was the food we were eating helping our bodies—or hurting them? And if it wasn’t helping, how could we do better?

Those conversations stayed with us.

As we got older, we started paying closer attention to the ingredients in everyday foods, especially salad dressings. Many store-bought options were full of seed oils, added sugars, and preservatives. They didn’t feel like something that truly supported our bodies.

So we decided to create something better.

Nourish was built on one simple idea: food should be made with clean ingredients and still taste amazing. We believe healthy salad dressing shouldn’t be complicated or filled with ingredients you can’t pronounce.

Our dressings are organic, vegan, and made without seed oils or added sugars. They’re designed to support your body while bringing bold, fresh flavor to your meals.

The name Nourish comes from the Latin word nutrire, which means to feed, nurse, foster, or support. That meaning is at the heart of everything we make.

Nourish started in our family kitchen. Our goal now is to bring those same values to kitchens everywhere—helping people feel confident about what they’re eating, one meal at a time.
